Who are the workshops for?
The workshops are for all those who teach and support learning at Oxford, especially course directors, learning support staff, and course administrators who have an interest in adopting a student-staff partnerships approach to their efforts to enhance teaching and learning.
What are the workshops?

You can book for one, two or all the workshops in the series, although we encourage you to consider attending all three to get the most from the resource.

Workshop 1: Discovering the Student-Staff Partnerships Toolkit

In this workshop, you will explore all the components of the toolkit. You will be able to develop plans for how you might make use of some of the components within your teaching or educational support context.

In this workshop, you will get ‘hands-on’ with the toolkit's self-evaluation tools. You can explore how the tools could be used in your context to identify existing good practice and areas that could be further developed.

Workshop 3: Contributing to the Student-Staff Partnerships Toolkit
|
In this workshop, we will explore how you can share your experiences of using the toolkit to support student-staff partnerships and how you can contribute to the toolkit resources. You will have the chance to discuss ideas on how you could continue conversations with colleagues in your different contexts.

What is the Student-Staff Partnerships Toolkit?
The Student-Staff Partnerships Toolkit supports the University’s Strategic Plan commitments to develop an inclusive approach to education and reduce awarding gaps. The toolkit will help you to:
- shift towards adopting a student-staff partnership approach in your existing teaching and learning enhancement work
- identify barriers to and opportunities for student-staff partnerships
- structure conversations and action planning with colleagues and students
- discover further guidance and support.
The toolkit, together with the Centre’s Racially Inclusive Teaching Toolkit and Digitally Supported Inclusive Teaching Toolkit, has been developed with extensive input from staff across the collegiate University.
