Pierce has just completed his undergraduate degree in History, and will begin his graduate studies in History of Medicine, Science and Technology in 2021-22.
As part of his internship at the Centre for Teaching and Learning, Pierce is working on the Race and the curriculum project.
Whilst completing his undergraduate degree, Pierce served as the JCR President at Brasenose College, where he was heavily involved in relaying student concerns regarding racism and the curriculum to College authorities. He also helped manage the student response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
I am thrilled to be part of the CTL team working on a ‘Race and the curriculum’ toolkit so that I can continue my work advocating for a more diverse and welcoming university environment for all students and staff.
