Yanrong Tan studied for an MSt in English Literature (1830-1914) at Oxford. While researching the cognitive psychology behind reading, empathy, imagination, and memory as an undergraduate, Yanrong grew interested in different accounts on the reading experience, particularly neuroatypical perspectives on novel-reading.
Since then, an increasing interest in the cognitive processes of memory, learning, and development has brought Yanrong to the 2024 internship project, with the hopes of learning, together with everyone, how everyone can learn better together.
